This recipe is a must for us that have a busy lifestyle and still insist in serving good healthy meals to our family and friends. This recipe is a no-knead bread and you can mix the wet dough in the night and bake the buns in the morning. We love the smell of fresh bake in the morning and the butter melting on the warm buns.

  • Yield:12 servings

Instructions

  1. Stir the yeast into a bowl together with the water and oil while you grate the carrots and find the other ingredients. The yeast mixture should make small bubbles as a good sign that the culture is alive. Add natural yogurt, oatmeal, grated carrots, honey and salt.
  2. Stir it well and add flour little by little (It is not necessary to use all the flour) Finally knead or stir the dough well on the kitchen table and put it in a bowl to rise.
  3. Put the dough on the baking sheet with spoon.
  4. Let the buns rise for 30 minutes
  5. Bake the carrot buns in a 200 degrees fan for about 20 minutes or until you get a light golden color.

Ingredients

  • 300ml water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 100ml natural yogurt
  • 20g of fresh yeast or 7g of dry yeast
  • 150g carrot (grated)
  • 50g Oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 450g wheat flour
