RHUBARB CRUMBLE

Rhubarb Crumble is one of my favorite desserts because it is SO easy and quick to make. Topped with vanilla ice cream to balance the sour tang of the bobbling rhubarb underneath the light-brown butter crust. Simply a delicious classic. I also love it cold for breakfast.

Instructions

  1. Cut the rhubarb in smaller pieces. Pour over the 50 gr of sugar and toss together well.
  2. Cut the butter in smaller cubes and rub it together with the sugar and flour using your fingertips.
  3. Don't overwork the dough since the butter will melt. Add extra flour if needed to form the crumble with your fingertips.
  4. Cover the rhubarb with the crumble in 200C/390F for about 25 min or until golden brown. Enjoy!

  • 100 gr flour
  • 30 gr oats
  • 70 gr sugar
  • 100 gr butter
  • 400 gr rhubarb + 50 gr sugar
